Thusano Educare
Mama Annie Qibi was a dynamic woman who did not settle for less than the best for her community. She ran Thusano Educare since 1991 and started with only ten children in her care. But a dynamic woman is a force to be reckoned with, and she grew her centre, caring for more than 120 children, and employed five teachers to help nurture and educate. At home, she ran a food garden, which provided fresh vegetables for the children’s meals. Mama Annie sadly passed away at the age of 61 in December 2012. She has left a legacy at Thusano Educare and will be greatly missed by all at Clover Mama Afrika.
