MAMA SELESTIEN MOSES

Khayalethu Care Centre

In communities overrun by poverty, it is easy to be overcome by despair, luckily Clover Mama Afrikas like Mama Selestien exist. Her love of people drives her to improve her community’s situation in any way she can. No stranger to hard work, Mama Selestien started her centre to help all children in need of love, care and nurturing.

She now cares for more than 80 elderlies and over 300 children, providing them with meals, counselling and ensuring that they get what they need for school. Despite all her challenges, she is motivated by the impact she continues to make to improve the lives of those in her community. Mama Selestien has also been offered the position of ward councillor and has become an exemplary spokesperson for Clover Mama Afrika and the members of her community. Her one wish is – “for all the seeds that I have planted in the hearts of others bear fruits.”

come from, but it is more important to know where you are going with life. If you know how to do something properly, show others how it should be done.”
