Makes 1.5kg – 2 kg
Ingredients
500 g Butter
500 ml Buttermilk
15 ml Vanilla essence
6x 250 ml Cake flour
50 ml Baking powder
7 ml Salt
375 ml Sugar
3x 250 ml All Bran, Slightly chopped
250 ml Sunflower seeds

Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Spray & cook pans.
- Melt butter and cool off.
- Stir buttermilk and vanilla to it.
- Sift flour, baking powder and salt.
- Add sugar, All Bran and seeds.
- Mix well.
- Roll balls and put closely together.
- Bake 45-60 minutes.
- Break balls loose and put on baking tins.
- Dry at 70°C overnight.
