1x tin Clover Full Cream Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 liter water
1 ml salt
375 ml Clover Fresh Full Cream Milk
100 g Clover Mooi River Salted Choice Butter

100 ml cornflour
100 ml additional water
500 ml finely diced crustless white bread (± 2 cm dices)
Ground cinnamon or cinnamon sugar to sprinkle



  1. Combine condensed milk, water, salt, milk and butter in a heavy based saucepan and bring to boil over very moderate heat, stirring constantly to dissolve the condensed milk. Take care not to scorch the milk.
  2. Mix the cornflour and water and stir into the hot mixture. Stir and cook until thickened and stir in the diced bread.
  3. Simmer gently for 10 minutes and serve piping hot sprinkled with cinnamon or cinnamon sugar.
