CLOVER CHEESE WREATH PULL APART BREAD

Serves 8

Ingredients

4 cups Cake Flour
1.5 cup Milk (lukewarm – just a bit warmer than room temperature)
1 pct. Instant Yeast
1tsp Salt
3 sprigs Rosemary – chopped

200g Cheddar Cheese – grated
½ cup Butter – melted
Handful of Parsley – chopped
1 clove of Garlic – chopped
10 slices of Cheddar Cheese – sliced into ¼

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, milk, yeast, salt, and rosemary – knead the dough for 10-15 minutes or until the dough is smooth and elastic.
  3. Knead the grated cheese in – place back into bowl until doubled in size.
  4. Mix the butter, garlic, and parsley.
  5. Once the dough has doubled in size, divide into even sized balls and roll each ball into the butter, garlic and parsley mixture – stack the balls into a greased bun tin – occasionally adding a slice of cheese.
