Ingredients
4 cups Cake Flour
1.5 cup Milk (lukewarm – just a bit warmer than room temperature)
1 pct. Instant Yeast
1tsp Salt
3 sprigs Rosemary – chopped
200g Cheddar Cheese – grated
½ cup Butter – melted
Handful of Parsley – chopped
1 clove of Garlic – chopped
10 slices of Cheddar Cheese – sliced into ¼
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- In a bowl, mix the flour, milk, yeast, salt, and rosemary – knead the dough for 10-15 minutes or until the dough is smooth and elastic.
- Knead the grated cheese in – place back into bowl until doubled in size.
- Mix the butter, garlic, and parsley.
- Once the dough has doubled in size, divide into even sized balls and roll each ball into the butter, garlic and parsley mixture – stack the balls into a greased bun tin – occasionally adding a slice of cheese.
