Ingredients
3 kg whole pork ribs
250 ml (1 cup) water
10 ml (2 tsp) salt
Marinade
500 ml (2 cups) Clover Krush Orange Juice
125 ml ( ½ cup) honey
125 ml ( ½ cup) soy sauce
125 ml ( ½ cup) apricot jam
5 ml (1 tsp) ground cinnamon
10 ml (2 tsp) ground ginger
60 ml (4 tbsp) apple vinegar
60 ml (4 tbsp) Clover Farmstyle Salted Butter
60 ml (4 tbsp) tomato paste

Method
- Preheat the oven to 160 °C.
- Place the pork ribs in a large enough oven-proof dish. Mix the water and salt and pour over the ribs.
- Cover the ribs with foil and bake for 2 hours or until the meat is tender.
- Place all the ingredients for the marinade in a saucepan and simmer for 35 minutes over medium heat.
- Remove the ribs and pour off the salt water. Return the ribs to the dish.
- Spoon the marinade over the meat and leave for an hour to marinate. Bake for another 20 minutes or grill it on the braai, brushing frequently with the marinade.
- Serve hot.
